Airtel prepaid monthly recharge packs now start at Rs. 99, and Rs. 79, Rs. 49 options off

Airtel Rs. 99 prepaid recharge plan offers benefits including Rs. 99 talk time with a Validity of 28 days and 200 MB.



India:- Airtel on Wednesday revised the affordable prepaid recharge portfolio. Rs. 49 and Rs. 79 plan and now it is Rs. 99 will be available for Rs. Which is now Rs. 99 smart research options. This amendment will be effective from Wednesday, December 01, on an all-India basis. Rs. 49 airtel prepaid recharge plan in which you get Rs. Talk time of 38.52, 100MB data, and validity of 28 days was also available. Last week, Airtel revised its postpaid plans for both retail and corporate customers and discontinued the postpaid plan.




With the new updates, Airtel users will no longer be able to get Rs. 49 and 79 prepaid recharge plans that were available with a validity of 28 days. Instead, users will have to opt for Rs. 99 plan as the most affordable option.


Rupee. 99 Airtel prepaid plan comes with benefits including Rs. 99 talk time, 1 paisa per second local/STD call rates and 200MB data. this recharge comes with a validity of 28 days.


Now airtel and other telecoms company have discontinued their cheapest monthly prepaid recharge plan just a few months after offering Rs. 49 and 79 recharge for free and double the benefits of Rs. 99 plan. The move was announced in May to assist customers amid rising cases of COVID-19 in the country and was said to benefit 55 million low-income users.

Apart from increasing the base tariff of its prepaid network, Airtel last week revised its postpaid plans and offered Rs. 999 plan is the lowest family postpaid plan for retail customers. The telco discontinued the earlier Rs. 749 family postpaid plans as a part of the amendment.



Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) followed in the footsteps of Airtel also revised postpaid plans for its retail and corporate customers. Unlike Airtel, Vi has Rs. 49 and 79 prepaid plans that come with Rs. 38 Talktime and 28 days. However, the operator may soon follow up with its New Delhi-based counterpart and bring similar modifications in the coming days.




Note:- All telecom companies in India have increased their recharge plans. Due to this, there is going to be a deep impact on the pocket of the customer. Telecom companies keep increasing their plans in two years. Now it remains to be seen whether anything is going to go ahead with this plan or not.
